Leif Schneider joined the team in May 2021 as senior associate and heads the German Desk. After earning his legal credentials at Germany’s most reputable law school (LMU) and the Higher Regional Court of Munich, he has been advising his international clients in different roles as a member of the German Bar Association since 2016. Before joining ACSV, he advised his clients in corporate/M&A and IP matters across various jurisdictions (Germany, France, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Vietnam) and industries such as healthcare & life sciences, financial sector, energy/infrastructure projects, manufacturing, trade.
Leif is now Vice-Chair of the Legal Sector Committee of the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam.
He has been admitted to practice as a foreign-registered lawyer in Vietnam since 2018.
Leif is fluent in English, German and French.

Leif’s practice clusters around Corporate/M&A, foreign direct investment (FDI), international arbitration, intellectual property (IP) and data security. As Head of the German Desk, his special focus lies on German and other European investment into Vietnam.
